Density

  • Maximum units for specific sites

    Sequoias: up to and including twenty-three units; Christ Church: up to and including six units. (18.29.060.A)

  • A conditional use permit is required for all affiliated housing (AH) projects in accordance with Chapter 18.72. (18.29.040.A)

  • Design standards

    The design standards of Section 18.15.060 shall apply to all affiliated housing sites. (18.29.060.D)

  • Development standards by density

    For sites with a density of up to and including six du/ac, the development standards of the R-MF-4 as established in Section 18.15.050 apply. For sites with a density greater than six du/ac, the development standards of the R-MF-23 as established in Section 18.15.050 apply. (18.29.060.C)

  • Housing unit priority

    Housing units shall be offered first to employees of an affiliated institution or employer. If unable to fill, units may be offered to other households with a preference for people that work in the Town of Portola Valley. (18.29.050)

Parking

  • Parking reduction

    The planning commission may approve a reduction in otherwise required parking proposed for an affiliated housing site with the conditional use permit. (18.29.060.E)
