The height limit for accessory and junior accessory dwelling units is established by the applicable zone district but shall not be less than 16 feet.

For properties with a junior accessory dwelling unit, the single-family residence must be owner-occupied.

The maximum floor area for an accessory dwelling unit detached from an existing single-family dwelling shall not exceed 1,200 square feet. A setback of four feet from the side and rear lot lines shall be required in all other instances.
