CHAPTER 17-07 - PF PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT#

17-07-010 - Intent.#

The PF Public Facilities district is intended to provide areas for public facilities and open lands.

17-07-020 - Permitted uses; by right.#PF

The following uses are permitted by right in the PF district:

(A) Uses permitted in the OS district (chapter 17-07.1 of the BMC);

(B) Uses permitted in the PROL district (chapter 17-07.2 of the BMC);

(C) Public utilities, structures, and buildings, including but not limited to government offices, nature centers, libraries, water and wastewater facilities;

(D) Water storage reservoirs;

(E) Lift and booster stations;

(F) Amphitheaters; and

(G) Public art installations.

17-07-030 - Permitted uses; by special review.#

The following uses are permitted by special review in the PF district:

(A) Barbed wire fences;

(B) Municipal cemeteries;

(C) Freestanding solar arrays and solar gardens / solar farms not associated with a principal structure; whereas a solar garden / solar farms are defined as an installation or area of land in which a large number of solar panels are set up in order to generate electricity;

(D) Wireless communication towers.

17-07-040 - Lot and yard requirements.#

The following are setback requirements in the PF district:

Side, rear or front yard setback to buildings and structures adjacent to residential 30 feet + 1 foot for each 2 feet of building height in the PF District measured from residential property line

17-07-050 - Building height.#

Buildings in the PF district shall not be higher than three stories, and in no case higher than fifty feet.

17-07-060 - General provisions.#

Use of land in the PF district shall also conform to the parking, signing, and other provisions of this title.
